A Little About Me:
I have had an interest in photography since the age of fifteen, when I would borrow my parent's Nikon FE2 35mm to shoot photos at school, band events, sporting events and around the neighborhood.
I believe photo shoots should include candid shots where my customer can have some fun, along with the serious poses. I love catching adults, kids and animals, off guard in my photos. I feel it adds character and creates a fantastic memory to be shared for a lifetime. The photo needs to tell a story!
I enjoy applying a photojournalistic style to all my work, giving portraits and group work a vivid, living character that really makes them pop. I've won several photo awards over the past several years and have been honored at the Cabarrus County Fair in 2009. I am also a member of the International Photography Society and have had some of my work published.
I feel very strongly about customer service. There are many great photographers out there, but without good service, I feel it's just another photo. I want my clients to enjoy the photo shoot from the very start to the very end. It's important to be comfortable with your photographer and their staff. It makes it more magical, more fun.
I love to shoot children at play, school and enjoying sports/activities. I also love to shoot animals, nature and outdoor scenes. I am not limited to the above. I love being behind the camera in any setting.
I will travel to a destination to take that special photo for you. I've been as far as Alaska to take photos. Some of those photos can be found in my Portfolio, take a look.
